The 9th ward is right next door to an industrial area in New Orleans.
...like discarded toy cars.
Imagine the strength of the force required to put that house on top of the vehicle.
Some houses remained while others were wiped from their foundations.
Another house on top of a car.
Part of the Fats Domino estate.

Blue is the color of FEMA
One could almost imagine what the New Orleans swamps looked like before they were inhabited by humans.
All the trash neatly swept to the side....
Picturesque desolation where houses once stood.
one DOA
The ruin just continues for block after city block. Hard for the mind to grasp, the vastness of the damage..
Street signs swatted to the side.
